Lorrie Sanders Receives "Making A Difference" Award

Congratulations to OHS Counselor's Administrative Assistant, Lorrie Sanders, for being chosen as the November “MAKING A DIFFERENCE” award recipient for the Odessa R-VII School District. The District is excited to honor staff members who go above and beyond the call of duty through the "Making a Difference" recognition program!  Each month during the school year either a certified or classified employee will be honored for their part in implementing our district mission of preparing each student for a successful future. 

Lorrie's peers made the following comments about how she makes a difference:

• She is always willing to help others do anything from registering new students to showing how to create reports.

• She is always positive with students and staff.

• She regularly shares “how-to” instructions and best practices with staff.

• She often tries to resolve problems before they become problems.

She always has a positive attitude and a passion for doing a great job. With her heart for serving students, she truly makes a difference for everyone she comes in contact with every day.
